PLTW and the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) are partnering to provide Indiana high schools a grant opportunity to implement PLTW’s high school Cybersecurity course.
Cybersecurity is a full-year course recommended for students in grades 10-12. The course is designed to expose high school students to the ever-growing and far-reaching field of cybersecurity by providing students with inspiring and relevant learning experiences, during which they train and solve real-world problems as cybersecurity experts do.

Grant Details
The grant awards, in the amount of $8,000 per school, will assist in offsetting costs associated with implementing the PLTW Computer Science program, specifically the PLTW Cybersecurity course during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years.
Awards may be used to cover the following expenses during the first two years of implementation:
Schools with existing PLTW programs as well as schools with no existing PLTW programs are eligible to apply and can do so by completing this brief application by December 7, 2018.
All schools will be notified of their application status by January 15, 2019. Schools awarded a grant will receive more information at this time regarding next steps for implementation, PLTW Professional Development, and purchasing instructions, as well as next steps from IDOE regarding award payments. All grant funds will be administered by IDOE.
