Thousands of guests from across the nation joined us for PLTW Summit, sponsored by Chevron, in Kansas City, San Antonio, Anaheim, and Indianapolis to share ideas and best practices, make meaningful connections, and gain actionable insights to put into practice in the classroom.
Guests attended 613 workshop sessions and made nearly 13,000 connections, powered by 14,000 cups of coffee (that’s 700 gallons!).
Nearly 200 educators attended PLTW Core Teacher Training and 136 attended PLTW Launch Lead Teacher Training.
Guests attended the CEO Reception, sponsored by VEX Robotics.
PLTW recognized 69 teachers and educational leaders for their outstanding efforts to empower and inspire students and awarded five PLTW Teachers of the Year, the PLTW Educational Leader of the Year, and the Robert and Patricia Kern PLTW National Teacher of the Year.
Dozens of partners came together to make PLTW Summit, sponsored by Chevron, come to life, and PLTW was proud to announce AWS Educate as the newest PLTW Transformative Partner.
Judi Holler empowered guests to fear their fears a little bit less (#FearBoss), PLTW students from 16 schools shared how they engaged in real-world problem solving, and eight PLTW student and PLTW alumni emcees inspired us with their own stories of using the knowledge and skills developed in PLTW to pursue career pathways.
