Regional Opportunity – In Partnership with The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation

Eligibility: Public and charter schools in the following school districts serving grades PreK-5 and with a 50 percent or higher free and reduced-price lunch eligible population can apply.

• Baltimore City Public Schools
• Baltimore County Public Schools

PLTW Program(s) and Grant Award(s):

• PLTW Launch
  • Total Award: $10,000
    • 2019-20: $5,000
    • 2020-21: $5,000
• PLTW Launch
  • Total Award: Up to $5,100 in products and services
    • 2019-20: Up to $4,350 in products and services
    • 2020-21: Up to $750 in products and services

Application Deadline: March 29, 2019

State Opportunity – Iowa, in Partnership with the State of Iowa

Eligibility: Iowa public, private, and charter schools serving grades PreK-5 and not currently offering PLTW Launch are eligible to apply.

PLTW Program(s) and Grant Award(s):

• PLTW Launch
  • Total Award: Up to $5,100 in products and services
    • 2019-20: Up to $4,350 in products and services
    • 2020-21: Up to $750 in products and services
