Eligibility: Public/charter schools in the following geographic areas are eligible to apply for implementation and/or expansion grants:
- Alabama: Mobile County
- Indiana: Lake County, Porter County, and LaPorte County
- Michigan: Within 10 miles of the ArcelorMittal facilities in Southfield and Dearborn
- Minnesota: Within 30 miles of the ArcelorMittal Minorca Mine in Virginia, Minnesota
- Ohio: Cuyahoga County, or within 10 miles of the ArcelorMittal facilities in Columbus and Warren
- Pennsylvania: Within 10 miles of the ArcelorMittal facilities in Coatesville, Conshohocken, Monessen, and Steelton
- West Virginia: Within 10 miles of the ArcelorMittal facilities in Princeton and Weirton
